Bach Remedies
To Support Harmony and Vitality

Bachwohnzimmer
Dr Edward Bach (1886 - 1936) discovered a complete system of healing prepared from the wild plants, flowers and trees of the English and Welsh countryside. It balances emotions and treats negative mental states. He knew that physical illnesses correspond with negative states of mind like fear, impatience, overenthusiasm, uncertainty or loneliness. Taking the right flower remedy brings harmony to the mind and allows the body's natural defences to work more easily. Bach Remedies may also be used for emergencies, insomnia, protection against outside influences, before examinations, etc.

There are 38 flowers prepared using two simple methods: the sun method and the boiling method. Every single plant contains the energy of the flower which corresponds to a human state of mind. The energy of a suitable chosen flower can be transferred to the body if there is a negative state of mind. Most often several flowers are given mixed in a treatment bottle diluted in water and you have to take four drops, four times a day until your state of mind has changed.

There are different ways to select the right flowers. I speak with my patient in a comfortable atmosphere to determine their state of mind. In this period of change I offer support, and my other manual therapies are also helpful.

Mount Vernon
This peaceful and quiet place is situated 10 miles south of Oxford in Brightwell-Cum-Sotwell in a picturesque village with 400 houses mainly cottages and 1200 inhabitants. Dr. Bach's house where he lived and worked the last 2 years of his life is called Mount Vernon. Here you can walk into his living and consultation room with the doctor's handmade furniture. In the big garden around the house you can find wild growing plants and from here one third of the 38 Bach Flower Remedies for the preparation of the Mother Tinctures are used. People from all over the world visit Mount Vernon.
